Dr. Fathima Mucheth Abdul Basheer

Dr. Fathima Mucheth Abdul Basheer | Ph.D | (Psychologist, Supervised Practice)

With over eight years of experience, I bring a trauma-focused, neuro affirmative, and person-centred approach to therapy. My practice is rooted in the belief that individuals are more than just symptoms or diagnoses. I strive to understand symptoms within each client’s unique sociocultural context rather than confining them to rigid clinical labels.

My training includes two years of supervised clinical practice during my MPhil in Clinical Psychology at National Institute of Mental Health And Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) where I received intensive training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, family interventions, and diagnostic and neuropsychological assessments. Additionally, I have completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Trauma-Focused Therapy and earned a PhD in Psychology from the University of Calicut.
